ABOUT THE ROLE

The Visual Content Editor will collaborate with brand teams to develop and execute engaging moving content strategies for Country Living and House Beautiful . You will work across editorial and licensing partnership content, liaising closely with the central Video team and the Social Manager for Homes. Your responsibilities include ideating and delivering diverse moving content formats across platforms such as web, social media, apps, and YouTube.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and scheduling of high-quality moving content to enhance brand engagement and digital reach.
  • Generate innovative and exciting ideas for content on both brands.
  • Plan, storyboard, and conceptualize moving content projects.
  • Compile reports on video trends to support brand growth and audience development.
  • Coordinate with the central video team for briefing, commissioning, and efficient execution within budget.
  • Utilize analytics and scheduling tools to refine and optimize video strategy.
  • Regularly report on content performance to the wider team.
  • Represent Hearst UK and uphold its values.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize print, digital, event, and licensing content for video.
  • Balance editorial quality with reach and revenue goals.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven ability in idea generation, storyboarding, and pitching.
  • Interest in themes such as style, interiors, homes, gardens, artisans, nature, and wildlife.
  • Experience with video strategy and digital brand content execution.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for style and innovative ideas.
  • Strong analytical skills, familiar with Google Analytics and similar tools.
  • Knowledge of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube) and their growth potential.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and social media content tools.
