Role Purpose
Promote Marlborough and our range of products and services by producing dynamic print and digital marketing content. Help improve our collateral by generating new ideas for content, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Help improve brand equity and user experience across our range of Group websites. Ensure that our products are consistently available to view by creating and updating regular communication documents in line with regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and production of in-house communication materials, including but not limited to presentations, newsletters, manager commentaries, fund information documents, and brochures.
- Provide creative support and solutions to design briefs such as layouts, templates, graphics, concepts, and animations/video.
- Collaborate with marketing team colleagues on key strategic projects and communicate effectively with the wider business.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistency across content in terms of tone of voice and visual representation, in line with our brand and style guidelines.
- Design collateral for our websites and landing pages to promote the core fund ranges and provide an excellent client experience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for new webpages or website features as needed.
- Create and update company stationery including letterheads, business cards, and other relevant documents.
- Support and influence the planning of long-term marketing activities.
- Record and update marketing activity to help measure results of campaigns.
- Proofread marketing materials to ensure on brand and accurate.
Requirements
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to problem solve and deal with complex queries.
- Ability to prioritize workloads.
- Ability to work autonomously and when required with Key Stakeholders.
- Professional manner and attitude.
Beneficial Skills
- Knowledge of Adobe Animate, Premiere Pro, and Audition.
- Knowledge of a marketing automation system such as ActOn or Pardot.
- Experience creating dynamic documents.
- Experience using back end website eg Webflow or WordPress.
- Knowledge of collective investment schemes and/or investment management.
- Experience in creating graphics from multiple data sources.
- Excellent numeric skills.
Essential Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent level qualification in Graphic Design or similar.
Beneficial Qualifications
- Completion or working towards the IOC (Investment Operations Certificate) qualification.
- Marketing qualifications from the CIM or similar.
- At least 2 years experience working as an Artworker/Graphic Designer.
- Experience and knowledge of the financial sector.
