We have a new opportunity for a Merchandiser to join our Menswear team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with the Senior Buyers, Assistant Buyers, and CEO
- Managing stock intake, monitoring stock levels by restocking products to maximize sell-through with full understanding, maintenance, and management of own WSSI.
- Preparing and presenting weekly trading information to the wider business
- Identifying and completing actions for daily/weekly trading issues, including resolving any data inaccuracies within the product range and WSSI
- Managing the critical path to ensure smooth development of the sampling process, maintaining key delivery schedules and communicating directly with suppliers
- Managing monthly product drops, repeats, and availability
- Identifying and raising POs in-line with the buying and delivery schedule
- Completing daily, weekly, monthly analysis of product performance
- Re-forecasting, analyzing WSSI & communicating changes and findings to the Buying team
- Accurately forecasting new product launches to achieve optimum profit while maintaining high product availability
- Identifying any overstocks and recommending appropriate action
- Identifying growth opportunities within the product range
- Using historical analysis to present conclusions to support range planning
- Providing phasing analysis to support range building process with the Senior Buyer
- Ensuring products are delivered to warehouse on time with full Merchandising capabilities and managing the delivery schedule
- Challenging and escalating any dates that are or will be missed or will affect launch availability
- Pre-empting future problems using supplier knowledge and liaising with Marketing and Warehouse departments
- Reacting to changes in demand and logistics
- Supporting the Buying team with ad-hoc reports as required
- Providing guidance to MAAs and AMs to ensure the quality of work while supporting their personal growth and expansion of knowledge
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ Merchandising experience
- Experience working with suppliers is essential
- An understanding of Manière De Voir's brand vision and customer profile
- A strong understanding of fashion and how to grow a business profitably
- Hard-working with a strong passion and enthusiasm for the industry
- Willingness to learn and increase skillset and knowledge
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
- Excellent teamwork and influential skills
- Strong analytical mindset and ability, with proven experience in an analytical role where Merchandising was applicable
- Strong computer literacy skills - Advanced Excel user with confidence to manipulate data
- Strong commercial awareness - Knowledge of wider marketplace and context of broader business
