Job Overview: Role: Secondary Teaching AssistantLocation: ShrewsburyKey Stages: KS3 – KS5Your Role – As a Secondary Teaching assistant, you will be tasked with the support of students in a Secondary School. Quite often you will be based in the Focus Provision with the school. Working with children with learning difficulties and need additional support.

On the flip side some pupils may have more behavioural issues and will need more pastoral support to help them work through their problems and aid a productive working environment.Requirements – Ideally hold a relevant Qualification Level 2/3 TA Qual or be Degree Qualified Experience working with young people in a role such as Sports Coach, Youth Mentor or Scout Leader.
