Deputy Care Home Manager

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Eye, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers.

Eligibility

To be considered for this position you must have at least an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and previous experience as a Deputy Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager and manage the day‑to‑day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
• Alongside the Home Manager, manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements.
• Ensure the service users receive the highest standards of professional support and experience life opportunities that promote growth and independence.
• Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes within the home.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care.
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
