About The Farleys, our three Outdoor Nursery Schools:

  • Farley Steeple Langford is our nursery school in the picturesque village of Steeple Langford, where nature sparks learning through play. With adventures at Langford Lakes and strong community ties, we deliver exceptional care and education in an inspiring outdoor setting.
  • Farley Sparsholt is the first yurt-based nursery in the UK, where classrooms are yurts, and nature sparks creativity and curiosity. Located next to Sparsholt College, children explore the outdoors, meet livestock, and interact with animals from meerkats to a red panda, making every day an adventure.
  • Farley Salisbury is an outdoor nursery, where children explore nature, embrace the seasons, and discover wildlife. With a focus on learning through play, we enrich imaginations and knowledge, fostering a close-knit community that welcomes parents as part of the Farley family.

About you:

You are a Level 2 or above qualified Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse and you love the outdoors! You’re looking for a role with a difference which will give you the opportunity to put your outstanding educational skills to good use across 3 amazing sites in SP3, SO21 and SP5. You will need to be a driver as getting to some of the sites can be a bit tricky on public transport. If you think you’ve got the right attitude and abilities, submit an application; who knows it might be the best thing you ever did. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

What you’ll be doing:

As a Multi-Site Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting our nurseries across the 3 locations. This dynamic role offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to make an impact in multiple settings. A travel allowance will be provided to cover journeys between sites. You’ll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan, but that will soon get completely derailed! Pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in childcare. Creativity is key. Teaching young children allows for hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged. Of course, we work within the EYFS standards, but that doesn’t stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning.

What you’ll need:

  • A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years.
  • Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5 is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
  • Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness, and working together.

What you’ll get:

  • Competitive rates of pay dependent on experience, qualification, and NMW age guidance.
  • Performance related bonuses.
  • 50% childcare discount.
  • Annual wellness day off.
  • Access to retail and other discounts through Perkbox.
  • 20 days holidays (plus bank holiday), increasing to 22 days after 2 years service and 25 days after 5 years service.
  • Dedicated learning and development support.
  • Access to one-to-one confidential counselling sessions through our Employee Assistance Programme.
