Management Accountant (Retail)

I am supporting a prominent wholesale food retailer, regarded for their high quality, who is seeking a Management Accountant to expand their finance team! This role offers an exciting blend of management accounting, financial reporting and commercial/FP&A duties such as budgeting & forecasting and supporting business decisions. You\’ll play a large role in assisting with the company\’s growth and success. This role offers significant growth potential!

Your new role

Reporting to the FC, you will be responsible for:

• Producing monthly management account packs
• Managing and reconciling the Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
• Cash flow management
• Providing analysis, insight and informative reporting to support and influence business decisions
• Cost analysis, monitoring COGs & stock
• Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting
• Coordinating year-end audit requests and assisting in preparing statutory accounts
• VAT
• Systems improvement
• Ad hoc finance projects and analysis

What you\’ll need to succeed

To succeed, you will be a Qualified Finance Professional (or finalist or QBE!) with experience within a Food / Retail environment – with stock experience.
