We’re hiring a Developer / Platform Engineer with active SC clearance to help deliver and maintain scalable, secure, and flexible communication platforms for a critical national programme. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of real-time collaboration, containerisation, and infrastructure automation, supporting a big governmental programme focussing on the secured communications platform.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and deploy containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Customise and manage stack of secured communications platforms
- Build scalable, secure deployment architectures for real-time communication
- Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
- Create custom integrations, plugins, bots, and SSO/LDAP connectors
- Harden, secure, and monitor platforms with TLS, OAuth2, RBAC, and Zero Trust principles
- Troubleshoot and support complex platform deployments
- Collaborate with DevOps, AppSec, and engineering teams
- Document everything from architecture and configuration to custom builds
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes in live production environments
- Scripting/programming skills – JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or Bash
- Experience with Linux systems, network configuration, and firewalls
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitOps, ArgoCD, Helm)
- Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis and secure back-end infrastructure
