Role Requirements: To machine components to technical drawings and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set-up and operate CNC Machines.
- Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
- Self-inspection of your own work.
- Preventative and General maintenance checks.
- Ensure all HSE legislations are adhered to at all times.
Competencies:
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Ability to set and operate CNC Machines – Milling.
- Ability to edit and prove out CNC Programs.
- Ability to use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers etc).
- Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong team player with a can-do attitude.
- Must be self-motivated.
Accountabilities and Performance Measures:
- Produce components to the correct standards within a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience within the Oil and Gas industry is preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating CNC Machines.
- Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar.
