Fire Consultant required to join a well-established construction consultancy. The role offers hybrid working with a connection to their London office. The role will be an excellent opportunity for you to take responsibility for providing fire consultancy services from within their existing team. Your Fire Consultant duties will include: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, security and quality standards. Undertaking fire risk assessments across a range of property types including commercial, education, healthcare and residential. Undertaking fire integrity / compartmentation surveys. Providing quality and technical monitoring on construction projects. Providing a fire safety advisor role to assist clients with their property portfolio. Reviewing contractors’ proposals on construction projects. Qualifications Fire Engineering/Safety qualification desirable. Accredited fire risk assessment qualification or equivalent would be advantageous. Associate Member of IFireE (AIFireE) or have a membership of a relevant professional body. Experience Experience of carrying out Fire Risk Assessments. Sound knowledge of UK fire safety legislation. Preferably experience in management of projects from inception to completion with Client facing experience and strong technical delivery experience Evidence of working within teams and prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
