One of the UK’s most exciting renewable energy developers is looking for a Grid Connections Manager to take ownership of grid connections across a 2GW nationwide pipeline of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with individual sites ranging from 10MW to 100MW.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing grid connections from feasibility to energisation
- Liaising with DNOs, TOs, and ICPs
- Supporting technical design, cashflow planning, and delivery coordination
- Staying on top of industry reforms and representing the business at key events
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ experience in grid connections (DNO, developer, ICP or similar)
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of UK grid infrastructure
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience with NESO Grid Code Compliance and DIgSILENT (a plus)
Location: Hybrid – 1 day/week in office
