A vacancy exists for Grade 4 (2 shift) Operative to work within the Brewhouse at Samuel Smiths.

As a Brewing Operative, your duties will include:

  • Brewing beer, lager etc
  • Hop and malt management
  • Good attention to detail
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
  • Communicating effectively within the workplace

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Good food hygiene and health and safety knowledge
  • Flexibility towards shifts and availability
  • An excellent attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills
  • Good level of physical fitness due to demanding duties
  • Experience in the brewing industry preferred but not essential

Hours: Required to work a five day week Monday to Friday 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm on a rota basis.
