The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
You will be part of the Progression team, as part of the wider Student Support Team at the Leeds International Study Centre working with the existing Progression and Student Success Coaches as a personal tutor and supporting progression needs of students. You will need to be highly organised, with strong ICT skills and a background in student support, ideally with international students., * Acting as a PASS Coach/Personal Tutor delivering weekly Progression and Student Success (PASS) tutorials to your tutor groups

To design and create learning materials around study skills, welfare topics and employability for Progression and Student Success tutorials.

To provide 1:1 personal and professional development coaching with students to help them succeed.

To monitor and support interventions for academic engagement and attendance.

To track student performance, support in the Mitigating Circumstances procedure and ensure progression records are maintained.

To monitor, track and provide reports on student destinations and assist students in finding alternative choices where they do not meet their progression requirements.

To provide and monitor wellbeing support to students, collaborating with the Welfare and Learning Support team where appropriate.

Assist in monitoring any Agreed Support Plans for students.

To assist in organising and delivering student induction, to ensure a smooth transition to UK study for students

To assist the Engagement and Transition team in enrichment events and university transition activities.

To deal with general student queries – face to face, by email and phone

To foster productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Level 3 Qualification (or equivalent experience)

Experience of providing advice and guidance to students or clients

Experience of working cooperatively with and motivating others

Experience of working with students or clients for whom English is a second language or from an international background

Experience of creating materials for delivery

Experience of delivering workshops or classes

Knowledge of higher education systems

The ability to diversify communication and support to individuals based on their needs and cultural background
