Channel Account Manager:

The role of the Channel Account Manager in the Cloud Sales team is to revolutionise Cloud distribution whilst working closely with the world’s leading solution providers, including Microsoft and more.

The Channel Account Manager will report to the Sales Team Manager and plays a pivotal role in managing our partner accounts. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing a transactional account portfolio and managing customers externally.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Generate sales among existing partner accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.

• Operate as the point of contact for assigned partner base.

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with account base and internal teams.

• Generate net new sales opportunities for channel partners by way of GTM strategies.

• Prepare quotes and proposals when required by the partner.

• Communicate partner needs and demands to the company.

• Be constantly developing intelligence on your partner\’s activity and market trends.

• Generate Sales Forecasts and track partner account metrics.

• Identify growth opportunities within the portfolio and execute growth plans.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure complete end-to-end management.

• Service multiple partners concurrently, often meeting strict deadlines.

• Keep records of client transactions through use of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

• Generate business through new partner acquisitions (outbound calls).

• Occasional visits to partner sites (if required by the business).

• Ad-hoc projects as per the business needs.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Experience managing a large account portfolio.

• Demonstrable experience in Account Management or a similar role B2B.

• Tenacious, committed, and competitive.

• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and listening.

• Experience in Cloud Distribution (Vendor, Distributor or Re-seller).

• Experience of using a CRM system (Dynamics, Salesforce).
