Building Services Degree Apprenticeship - Birmingham (Building Services)

As a Building Services Engineering Degree Apprentice in our Services team in Birmingham you will:

1. Assist in the development of designs and production of drawings through different phases of building services design, and support with mechanical and electrical calculations.
2. You will be trained in the use of software engineering tools such as AutoCad (2D Drawings) and Revit (3D Drawings) to ensure our team have a full set of design skills.
3. Where practical, you’ll get the opportunity to visit site, carry out site inspections and see the projects you\’re working on, coming to life.
4. You will attend University to study a Building Services Engineering degree apprenticeship and gain a BEng, as well as your Incorporated Engineer status with the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers.
5. You will be enrolled onto a bespoke internal development programme to help you to attain the knowledge, skills and behaviours to successfully achieve your apprenticeship, and support your career in Civil Engineering.
6. You will have the support of your team, line manager, mentor and buddy as well as a dedicated early careers team.

This is a permanent position, and after gaining your degree, WSP will continue to be committed to your learning and development throughout your career with us. You will have the opportunity to continue professional development and work towards gaining Chartered status or equivalent with your chosen institution, as well as the opportunity to pursue your further study and training goals.

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Exact working hours to be confirmed.
