Suitable applicants will join a team of full-time, seasonal and sessional outdoor activity staff at this popular Park, not far from Glasgow. Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park's Castle Semple Centre in Lochwinnoch is located on the shores of Castle Semple Loch, the busy gateway site for the Regional Park in Renfrewshire. The Centre delivers a range of outdoor activities courses and taster sessions nearly all year round.

Outdoor Instructors, with at least 2 relevant instructor qualifications in e.g., dinghy instructor; paddlesports; trail cycling, are required. Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and a current First Aid qualification are essential. Some weekend and evening work is required.

This position is covered by The Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 ("the PVG Act") and has been designated as carrying out regulated work with a child or protected adult under the terms of the Act. Consequently, individuals who are named on the Disqualified from Working with Children/Adults Lists will commit an offence if they apply for this post and may face prosecution.

Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 6 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier. Accordingly, during the recruitment process, if successful, you will be required to become a PVG Scheme Member.
