Purpose of the Role:
The position involves supporting the Merchandising team in managing distribution of stock to stores, allocating out stock on current and new lines and organising transfers between stores to ensure stores have the optimum stock package to drive maximum sales and profit. An MAA also creates daily and weekly reports to support the AM and Merchandiser.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and allocate stock lines at line level to ensure that right options go to the right stores at the right time
- Monitor parameters on bestselling product to ensure that stores maximise their sales potential
- Work closely with stores to ensure stock that stores are not over stocked and that sales are maximised, focusing particularly on flag ships, international stores and the website
- Reply to store requests
- Produce daily and weekly reports to support Merchandising team
- Ad hoc analysis and admin duties to support Merchandising team
- Adhere to company and department processes and procedures
- Communicate effectively within a team environment and across departments where necessary
