Commercial Underwriter

A big name in the market is looking to expand its commercial underwriting team UK wide due to growth and expansion. The roles will handle various commercial and motor cases across the SME, Mid-Market and Package teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Underwrite commercial cases on a new or existing business basis
2. Ensure strong relationships with customers through the business’s agencies
3. Collaborate closely with agents to resolve complex referrals and manage insurance risk costs effectively while delivering optimal solutions and services

EXPERIENCE:

1. Experienced Insurance professional or Commercial Underwriting specialist
2. Extensive background handling complex and technical cases within a regulated environment, including authority-level work
3. Familiarity with a wide array of Commercial General Insurance products
4. Proficient in reviewing policy documents
