Our business development director roles are responsible for identifying and closing business opportunities through strategic sales activity and a hunter mindset. With ability to navigate high level conversations across the total talent lifecycle, this customer centric role focuses on leading complex deals combining a range of tech and touch transition and coaching solutions. You will target a curated selection of clients to contribute to growing the business in revenue and gross profit. You will drive your own sales activities but crucially collaborate with diverse teams locally and internationally. You have success providing solutions to clients across all levels and managing c-level relationships.
A successful business development director, will:

Participate in achieving new business growth by identifying, networking and targeting the largest companies and establish new client acquisitions

Participate in building a relationship of trust with prospects and clients thanks to the ability to hold consultative conversations with CHRO, Head of HR and Talent Management of large companies ( focus on those business that have global employee workforces of 10,000 people +)

Create a sales plan and account plan on target accounts to regularly review performance and achieve annual targets

Develop creative, innovative solutions for prospects and ensure all proposals adhere to Randstad Enterprise pricing strategies

Ensure marketing activities are planned and followed up for clients and prospects

Ensure alignment with global client solutions and the Randstad Enterprise global leadership team on expanding new service lines and project sales into existing accounts where required

Robust cross-selling activities across different Randstad businesses and geographies that are coordinated efficiently and deliver increased value to customers

Negotiate and coordinate contractual terms ensuring commercial viability in-line with Randstad Enterprise

Consistently utilise salesforce.com CRM and complementary sales technologies to understand target client intent, document pipeline opportunities, track client engagement and report on win/ loss outcomes to support continuous improvement.

Extensive sales experience with a proven track record of success in innovative and forward thinking sales solutions in the HR services, career transition, coaching space

Ideally has an established book of business and a strong network of c-suite contacts in HR and Talent

Proven track record of closing deals and with organisations, selling to multiple stakeholders at senior levels

Consistent attainment of quota, meaningful customer interaction targets and healthy pipeline activity
