My exclusive client is based in the Preston area and are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant/Manager to join their small team on a permanent full time basis. The organisation is a registered charity and their reputation is built on quality and excellence and they are looking for a candidate to strive to match their goals. The key requirements and responsibilities are as follows:

• Complete producation of monthly management accounts
• Processing all sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Reconciling outstanding debtors and reporting
• Credit control ensuring all outstanding invoices are chased
• Acting as a direct point of contact for client queries both large and small accounts
• Assisting the financial controller on ad-hoc projects as required

The following are also either required:

• Experience in an accounts environment
• AAT Qualification is preferable
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
• Competent on Sage line 50 and Microsoft Excel
• Analytical mind to help build on strong processes in place
