We are excited to be recruiting for a BSL Care Assistant in our brand new Deaf Household based in our Heanor Park Care Home! We have an opportunity for people that can use BSL (British Sign Language) to support deaf members of our community. We want you to bring a passion for helping elderly deaf residents maintain an independent lifestyle. We are currently recruiting both full time and part time positions.

The ideal candidate must be flexible in working all shifts. It might not be that you have any paid experience providing care to others; however, you may have looked after and given care to a friend or family member. It would be desirable if you have an NVQ2 or are working towards it. If not, don’t worry, we can provide you with all the training that you need in our induction scheme and through our buddying scheme when you start in our home.
