Electro Mechanical Design – Contract Peterborough

An opportunity to integrate into the dynamic Electrification and Energy Solutions division, contracting as Battery Design Engineer. The team delivers advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products, and technologies. The solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries.

You will build and scale the next generation of technologies, products, and services, helping to build a better—more sustainable—world.

Your background includes

• Both mechanical and electrical experience. To Produce an electric powertrain for retrofitting into machinery.
• Advances Creo and ability in developing electrical harnesses.
• Designing electrical components and design of hardware.
• Carrying out risks assessments (DFMEAs)
• 3D CAD design of Electrical System components, assemblies, LV harness and HV Cables

This is an onsite role, there might some flexible working arrangement on a case-by-case basis.
