Semi Senior / Accounts Senior

We are currently looking to hire an ambitious and hungry Accounts Senior for a fab firm in Eastbourne. The role will suit someone looking to progress their career.

This is a position that allows an experienced accountant to acquire operational and leadership experience whilst maintaining their client–facing and hands‑on accounting responsibilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The completion of year-end accounts, CT600, Corporation Tax computations and Self‑Assessment Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients

• Supporting a team of Accountants, and directors to continuously deliver the agreed level of service.

• Supporting the directors with all operational matters

The ideal Candidate will have the following experience/skills:

• Due to the level of this role it is essential that you have experience within an accountancy practice

• Part‑qualified / Qualified accountant (ACCA/AAT/ACA)

• An ability to prepare accounts, VAT Returns, corporation tax and Self Assessment Tax Returns
