The Principal Consultant will help grow the Power and Renewables Consulting practice within the EMEA region, focusing on project execution and developing relationships with key clients. The role requires solid knowledge of power and renewables market dynamics across EMEA and strong project management capabilities.
Main Responsibilities- Project management: Effective project planning, securing resources, tracking progress, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Business development: Supporting the head of regional sector in business development activities, client engagement, and developing offerings.
- Analysis: Supporting and coaching project team members, contributing to consulting presentations and reports, and extracting and analysing data.
- Communication: Maintaining effective communication with clients and colleagues, presenting clearly and concisely.
- Teamwork: Working collaboratively across teams to support consulting practice development.
The Principal Consultant role is highly commercial, combining analytical rigor with skilled execution of deliverables. Candidates should have:
- Direct experience within the power & renewables industry or a related consulting environment.
- 5-8 years of working experience at a power and/or renewables focused consulting firm or similar role.
- A strong understanding of power industry dynamics and EMEA power markets.
- Analytical skills, including financial modelling and familiarity with power asset and/or market modelling.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
