Day to day responsibilities:
- Building client relationships and acting as a direct contact with current and prospective clients
- Providing insight and expertise on target industries, market, and competitor information
- Managing valuation modelling analysis, including determining appropriate valuation methodology and building and reviewing financial models
- Identifying and communicating potential engagements to management
- Supervising and mentoring staff on analyses, reports, and presentations
- Driving insight through data analytics
- Gaining exposure to transactions on buy and sell sides, financial planning & analysis, restructuring, strategic decision support, and data analytics
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in a STEM subject) or relevant work experience
- Possession of an accounting or other financial professional qualification
- Proven experience building and reviewing financial models in Excel and VBA
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing client relationships and mentoring staff
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
- A passion for learning and evidence of self-directed study in technical subjects
- Broad sector experience is desirable, with Private Equity, Infrastructure, Renewables, and Financial Services being a plus
- Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, SQL Server, and Python is advantageous
