Our Newark based client is looking for an Administrator to join their growing team on a full time, permanent basis.
THE ROLE
- Ensure clients receive great service.
- Providing all aspects of administrative and secretarial support to the Director and the technical team.
- Responsible for the accurate set up and maintenance of client records on our database and with HMRC.
- Liaising with staff from other offices where necessary.
- General administrative duties.
- Reception duties (telephone answering, greeting clients, drinks etc).
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
- Covering for absence of receptionist.
THE CANDIDATE
- The ideal person for the Administrator role will have excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate with colleagues and clients at varied levels.
- Relevant previous experience in an office environment - including administrative and secretarial duties.
- Reception duties, preferably in a professional services firm, but not essential.
- Confident at communicating with clients and colleagues.
- Motivated, organised and efficient individual.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting tasks.
- Helpful, accommodating attitude - a great team player.
- Well presented.
- Good GCSE/O-level results (minimum Grade C in Mathematics & English Language).
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word; with experience in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience of maintenance of client/customer records is preferred.
