Finance Manager

Blackburn Full-Time 48000 - 72000 £ / year (est.) No home office possible

Due to unprecidented growth this exciting £5 million turnover company is now looking to appoint a self starting Finance Manager to take over and manage the finance function for the business.

Reporting to the Finance Director and Managing Director you will be responsible for a team of 4 staff and take control of the following areas :

Preparation of the monthly management report pack
Preparation and development of annual budgets
Preparing monthly results for management meetings
Completing month end close
Reconciling balance sheet accounts including inter-company reconciliations.
Working with the external Accountants to compile the as Statutory accounts, Corporation tax pack, VAT returns
Managing the external and internal audit process on site, ensuring assistance is given as required to enable a smooth audit.

You will be a strong communicator, who enjoys a \”hands on\” position. Strong Excel skills are a pre-requisite as well as confident IT skills. This is a great opportunity with real potential for succession planning for the current FD.
