Overview
As our Vice President of EPR Consultancy (Epic and MEDITECH) Services, you will be a senior leader with extensive experience of health care needs and services demonstrating an understanding of the vital role that digital and clinical systems play in driving healthcare business strategy and decision-making. We are looking for a visionary leader who can lead our Specialist Services in the Epic and MEDITECH systems space. You will manage teams that deliver consultancy services such that we can help organisations safely transition clinical care and operational services between systems, maximising the benefits and minimising the risks.
Core responsibilities
- Accountable for the performance, profit and loss of Specialist (Epic and MEDITECH) Services
- Accountable for the successful delivery of all Specialist Services (Epic and MEDITECH) services
- Responsible for ensuring all tenders and proposals for Specialist Services (Epic and MEDITECH) have a bid calculator and subsequent contracts are quality assured and dealt with in line with the company delegated authorities
- Accountable for ensuring that ‘best practice’ people management is undertaken within the business unit, and this is in line with company policy and practice
- Developing the business unit culture such that the culture aligns to the company’s inclusive and learning culture, providing visible leadership and role modelling the company values and behaviours
- Promoting matrix management and engagement across the business
- Accountable for adherence to the company business quality management system within the business unit and as an SLT member responsible for maintaining ISO standards and accreditations. Promoting best practice and the company’s governance system
- Working with the SVP (Delivery Operations), VP EPR Consultancy (Oracle Health, System C, Diagnostics & Maternity) to ensure there is a Workforce Strategy
- This is to include recruitment, talent spotting, learning and development and an agreed delivery plan working with the VP Finance and VP People, Culture and Compliance. This includes employees and contractors
- Responsible for working with the Chief Nursing Information Officer (UK) and SLT for the development of the Transforming Operations Strategy, inputting into the business case as required
- Responsible for working with the VP of Sales, VP of Marketing and Communications and SVP (Delivery Operations) on the ‘go to market’ proposition of the services.
- Accountable for undertaking the role of SRO (Account Director) for specified strategic clients (house accounts) and representing the totality of the Cloud21 business and portfolio in the management of the client
- Collaborates closely with the VP of Sales and SVP (Delivery Operations) to align delivery and strategic account management with client expectations and business objectives
- Responsible for ensuring the UK company’s digital adoption agenda is implemented within the Specialist Services (Epic and MEDITECH) business unit and is aligned to company operating model.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous management consultancy experience within the Epic and/or MEDITECH health and care system services arena
- Senior managerial experience of planning, organising, developing, and directing strategic and operational digital and data services activities
- Experience of leading large transformational change programmes
- A collaborator, working as part of the wider team (with our Sales & Marketing, Corporate Services and other Delivery areas) as well as an excellent communicator
- Be able to call upon strategic thinking skills to support successful sales pitches
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, demonstrating the ability to prioritise busy work agendas
- You will be highly analytical, to hone client delivery projects ensuring high quality delivery and reference ability
- Possesses a high level of intellectual curiosity and learning agility. A natural change agent with a combination of vision and execution skills; a technical leader with a hands-on mentality
- Strong understanding of architecture, discovery, design and delivery of the requirements for data migration and interoperability of Health Care systems
- Strong understanding of the wider and national data requirements for the NHS
- Experience of scaling and stabilising a business at speed
