We are looking for a Digital Trading Executive / eCommerce Executive to join the team. The right candidate will need to understand all areas of Digital Trading and Merchandising and be able to hit the ground running in this fast-growing market.
Hours: 8.30 am-4.30 pm Mon to Fri (flexibility outside of these hours depending on business demands)
Reporting Into: Senior Digital Trading Manager
Holiday: 25+ Bank Holidays
Role Summary: As part of the Digital team, the objective of the trading arm is to ensure FG.com is merchandised to maximise sales and conversion. This includes the day to day running of the e-commerce section of the site, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and stock management. Candidates will be passionate about customers and producing regular reports on learnings; what is and isn’t working and taking the necessary actions to help drive growth.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Help to bring products to life whilst making sure all content across the website is engaging, easy to navigate and up to date and optimised to drive sales and revenue.
- To ensure that all promotions are accurately executed in a timely manner and in line with business deadlines – including the briefing and testing of email marketing campaigns and alignment of messaging across all channels.
- Supporting the relationship with the fulfillment agency to ensure that they are delivering the agreed KPIs.
- Working with Operational teams to support management of stock levels, returns, wastage, damages and the rotation of stock.
- To review website performance, customer buying habits and store navigation, and making tactical decisions in optimising the site as required.

Experience & Knowledge:
- Experience in website merchandising/trading within an online retail business.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in using tools to extract, interpret and analyse data i.e. Google Analytics, BI systems and Excel.
- Ideally an understanding of digital marketing channels (e.g. PPC, affiliates, SEO) plus experience using Shopify/Shopify Plus.
