IT Service Desk Analyst – 2nd Line (and ideally some 3rd Line). Our client is a successful managed service provider (MSP) whose reputation for delivering excellent customer service demands they now hire an additional Technical Support Engineer to operate within their client support function.IDEALLY you will be employed (or recently employed) in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.IT Service Desk Analyst – 2nd Line (and ideally some 3rd Line) – Operating within a flat management structure, the ideal candidate will:• Enjoy providing remote and telephone support to a varied clientele• Have the ability to assist with project managing installations and upgrades• Have a very good working knowledge of PCs and Windows networking• Ideally experience of mentoring other engineers – either by example or as Team Lead.• Be a good communicator• Have a full driving licence (own vehicle preferred but not essential)IT Service Desk Analyst – 2nd Line (and ideally some 3rd Line) – Specific Technical Experience:• Active Directory and associated Security• Windows Networking• TCP/IP• Troubleshooting Windows• Knowledge of hardware and ability to carry out repairs• Administration of Microsoft ExchangeIndustry recognised qualification(s) ideal – MCP, MCSA, MCDT, MCSE, CCNA, CCNE etc.This is NOT a remote role – you will be expected in HQ 5 days per week (during probation – some flexibility thereafter) …
