The Role involves supporting the Manufacturing project teams in setting up for manufacturing activities within the GMP suite and other Technician duties as required. Responsibilities include:
- Manufacture of Investigational Medicinal Products for all types of clinical studies performed at Quotient Sciences (QSC).
- Developing and validating production methods (including radiolabelling) while being vigilant in both radiation and chemical safety measures.
- Supporting the manufacturing team in the preparation of working BMRs, checked working labels, processing rooms, equipment, consumables, cleaning documents, swabbing procedures and COSHH (as appropriate) prior to onset of manufacturing for studies.
- Manufacturing pharmaceuticals to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) while adhering to Good Documentation Practice (GDocP).
- Supporting manufacturing operations in the clean down and swabbing of processing rooms and equipment.
- Direct involvement in tasks associated with the running and maintenance of the GMP cleanroom.
- Ensuring that manufacturing/validation procedures are carried out as per approved protocols with minimal errors.
- Keeping detailed and accurate records of all work undertaken.
- Performing day-to-day activities to ensure the smooth running of the Manufacturing Operations group.
Experience required includes:
- 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Good accuracy and attention to detail.
