Wind Turbine Technician – Mid Hill Wind Farm, near Banchory

Overview

The Natural Power Services team is looking for a Wind Turbine Technician to join our team based at Mid Hill Wind Farm near Banchory. The Service team comprises highly skilled technicians responsible for scheduled maintenance and repairs on 33 Siemens 2.3MW VS turbines. The successful candidate will work collaboratively, demonstrate strong fault-finding skills, and help advance our renewable energy goals. If you’re educated in an electrical or mechanical discipline and qualified to OEM standard, this role could be the challenge you’re seeking. Candidates with a strong engineering background but no previous wind turbine experience will also be considered.

Note: A full UK driving license is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs on Siemens 2.3MW VS wind turbines (33 units).
• Demonstrate fault-finding skills and work collaboratively to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safe operation of wind turbine assets.

Qualifications

• Educated in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
• Qualified to OEM standard; experience in wind turbines is advantageous but not mandatory for strong engineering candidates.
• Full UK driving license.
