Bookmark are currently hiring for Teaching Assistants to work at primary schools throughout Rochdale. The role is on a full-time basis however part time options are also available.
Previous experience working in schools / with children in support or care settings is required.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to the classroom teacher in delivering quality education and care to primary school students.
This position requires a patient and flexible approach, a passion for working with children, and the ability to assist with various aspects of classroom management and student support.

Responsibilities :

Provide pastoral and academic support to pupils.

Assist the class teacher with lessons, handing out materials and monitoring behaviour.

Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN / Special Educational Needs e.g. ASD / Autism
