Our client, a growing accountancy practice that provides a broad range of accounting and business support services is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper / Management Accounts candidate to join their team. The ideal individual will have strong interpersonal skills and will work well in a small friendly team environment. An increased salary will be considered if candidates have had previous management account experience within a practice environment.
- Up to £37,000 depending on experience
- Working hours Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
- Hybrid working after training period (3 days office / 2 days from home)
- 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (increases by 1 day every year)

Duties and responsibilities:
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software
- Reconciliation of bank and credit card transactions
- Making supplier and payroll payments
- VAT returns
- Bookkeeping duties
- Develop working relationships with clients
- Take on additional projects / responsibilities as directed
- Additional duties of management accounts for those experienced within this area
Skills and experience required:
- ACCA / CIMA / QBE or studying AAT
- Understanding of Xero & Dext desirable and Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience of working within an accountancy practice working on multiple clients
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Key attention to detail
