About the Role

• You will join a manufacturing company that has nearly tripled its revenue over the past five years. With a current turnover of over £75m and ongoing expansion, it operates in a fast-paced, modern, and innovative FMCG manufacturing environment.
• The role emphasizes added value business partnering. You will work closely with the Head of Operations / GM and factory SLT for a thriving business unit.
• The management accounts pack preparation and balance sheet work are handled by a central team. Your role involves taking the pack into the business to influence positive change and support commercially impactful decision-making.

Key Projects and Responsibilities

• Developing and standardizing commercial/operational reporting
• Longer-term forecasting, capex and ROI projects
• Cost analysis and operational KPI reviews
• Working closely with the SLT, your role is vital in influencing business decisions.

Team Management

You will manage a small team of junior finance business partners based locally.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in finance business partnering within manufacturing or production environments
• Understanding of profit and cost levers in a growth-focused business
• Confident in presenting and discussing financial information with operational leadership
• Proactive mindset, eager to understand where efficiencies and optimizations are possible
• Ability to influence strategic and long-term planning, alongside managing daily tactical finance activities
• CIMA qualification or equivalent is required
