Company Description Great Bear (Part of the Culina Group) provides distribution services to FMCG clients. Customer centric service focus is delivered through a site-level empowered culture. Job Description This role is part of the Markham Vale transport planning function. Working within the Transport Management System (TMS) you will be planning both outbound and inbound orders for multiple customers over a number of Great Bear sites. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 Salary: £30,288 What will you be doing? Booking orders in line with the delivery profile utilising both Phone, Email and Portal booking options Responding to customers with additional late orders adding them to the plan or removing orders as requested Good knowledge of the UK to enable utilising driver hours to maximise the delivery plan Arranging collections in line with the outbound plan. Planning orders to specific customer requests and ensuring the correct trailers and drivers are matched to the plan Re-booking failed orders to support a quick turnaround.
