Role and Responsibilities: Join our dynamic team as a Freight Account Manager and embark on an exciting journey. As we step into the New Year, were on the lookout for a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in freight forwarding and account management. Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset and want to be involved in all aspects of your clients freight movements? Do you enjoy generating new business, costing, quoting, account managing and operating your clients cargo end to end? If this sounds like you, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you. What are we looking for: Sales Experience: 1 year (preferred) Freight Forwarding experience by Air, Sea, Land and Abnormal Freight Account management experience: 2 years (preferred) Main responsibilities: Cold calling, lead generation & customer appointments Maintain and develop your existing accounts Knowledge of your own hauliers will be a great advantage Process bookings from customer by phone/email Handle the coordination of freight (Land, Air or Sea) Handle all operational aspects of import and export movements Request customs clearance of both export and import shipments via our in-house customs team Build and maintain a good working relationship with customers and suppliers Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure that expectations are met during the movement of cargo Benefits: Excellent uncapped bonus structure A company car Company Laptop & Phone 20 days holiday + bank holiday.
