PERM P TIME PRACTICE NURSE GP SURGERY LEEDS ££ in Leeds

Overview

Part-time Practice Nurse urgently required for a Practice in the Leeds area. Dream Medical is working with a respected Practice in Leeds and urgently require a part-time Practice Nurse ASAP. This role is 12 hours per week with a salary of £10K depending on experience plus additional benefits.

Responsibilities

• Undertake health screening, surveillance, new-patient screens and immunisations.
• Assess and care for patients presenting with wounds including removal of sutures and clips, and leg ulcer management.
• Undertake cervical cytology screening on those who are eligible in line with national guidelines.
• Perform venepuncture and assist with minor surgery.
• Experience with respiratory care, cytology, dressings and wound care, along with family planning and pill checks.

Qualifications

• UK registered nurse with significant post-registration experience.
• Patient-focused with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities.

• Hours: Part-time, 12 hours per week.
