The Company: Large Format print & graphics company, specialising in design, print and installation projects for TV, Film, Events and retail display.
The Role:
- To RIP, print and finish high quality large format prints using a variety of machines and substrates.
- Finish and install high quality large format prints using a variety of machines and substrates.
- Prepare, mount and laminate large format graphics.
- Finish a variety of materials, i.e., large format prints and vinyl and signage for a range of different projects from retail, events, sets and exhibitions etc.
- Ensure jobs are packed correctly for despatch.
- Load and unload Company Vehicles.
- Operate Vinyl Plotters.
- Work to Company & client and site Health and Safety procedures.
- Undertake quality control of finished items to ensure they meet standards and to report any issues to management.
- Help with online orders and packaging ready for dispatch.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of substrates including vinyl, foamex, foamboard, dibond, banner, wallpaper, acrylic, paper and card.
- A highly effective person with strong planning and organisational skills.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and able to work on own initiative and common sense to resolve issues.
- Able to multi-task effectively switching between the different functions of this role and work under pressure to meet deadlines, able to prioritise and multitask effectively.
- A complete all round finisher with attention to detail who is dependable and gets the job done.
- Well-presented, friendly, hardworking and able to communicate highly effectively in English in both verbal and written communications.
