The governing body is looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational teacher. Llanrhidian Primary has an excellent reputation for developing teachers into leadership positions and this is an opportunity for someone with initial leadership experience to further develop these skills. The successful candidate will be required to lead upon identified school improvement priorities. The right candidate will be offered opportunities to work alongside our senior leadership team.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a range of experience across the primary age phase
- Be creative and able to inspire learning beyond the classroom
- Be someone who works extremely well as part of a team
- Have high expectations for the learning, behaviour and care of all pupils
- Be committed, hard-working and keen to offer to the wider life of the school
- Have good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Have a clear understanding of developing learner voice, pupil-led learning and improving wellbeing
- Have effective ICT skills and can use these to enhance learning

Shortlisted applicants will be required to demonstrate their excellent teaching through lesson observations within their place of work during the week of 29 April. Formal interviews will take place on Friday 9 May.
