We are looking for a dedicated and passionate part-time Voluntary Fundraising Assistant to support our fundraising efforts and help us raise critical funds for ChaplaincyPlus projects. As a Voluntary Fundraiser, you will play an integral role in reaching our financial goals by assisting with the planning, execution, and promotion of our fundraising strategy. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the future growth and potential of ChaplaincyPlus while developing valuable skills in fundraising, marketing, and donor relations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Campaign Support: Assist with the planning, organisation, and execution of fundraising campaigns (online and offline), including donor outreach, event promotion, and content creation.
- Donor Engagement: Help build and maintain relationships with donors, supporters, and corporate partners by sending thank-you notes, updating them on fundraising progress, and fostering engagement.
- Research & Prospecting: Research potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities (individuals, corporate partners, grants) to identify new fundraising prospects.
- Marketing & Promotion: Help create promotional materials, assist with social media campaigns, and engage with supporters through digital platforms to raise awareness of fundraising efforts.
- Data Management: Assist with updating donor databases, tracking donations, and ensuring accurate records are kept of funds raised.
- Reporting: Provide input for regular fundraising progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- A genuine passion for ChaplaincyPlus’s mission and strategic objectives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to engage and inspire others, with a positive, friendly attitude.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with fundraising and marketing strategies is a plus, but not essential.
