Oliver James is partnered with a leading Insurer who require a Credit Rating associate to join their ambitious team. This is a London, UK based position. You must be a UK tax resident to apply. This is the ideal role for someone in the early stages of their career who has existing experience in Credit Ratings.
You will be joining a growth-driven business and work closely with senior stakeholders. Role: You will join a highly accomplished Risk function. Responsibilities include delivering credit rating assessments within structured finance, analysing fundamental credit risks, supporting the implementation of methodology and presenting to the CRO on a weekly basis. You will be working on Private Credit Assets like Middle-Market Loans and Large Cap Direct lending.
As part of a small team, you will work alongside the Head of Credit and Investment Risk and with one of the UK's most accomplished asset managers. This close dynamic also allows the opportunity to progress in your role and further your career, fast!
Personal Requirements:
- 2-5 years experience in Financial Services (Insurance, Investments, Asset management)
- Strong academic background
- Ideally working towards professional qualification (e.g. actuarial, accountancy, investments)
- Ideally experience working within Insurance or Risk Management
- Strong analytic and communication skills
- Stakeholder presentation experience is desirable
Assignment: Initial 12 month fixed term contract with strong possibility to move into permanent employment. Salary DOE. Hybrid working to London based office (3 days per week).
