Psychology/Sociology Teacher

This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen our students\’ understanding of complex human behaviour and social dynamics across Key Stage 4 (aged 14-16) in central London. Responsibilities * You\’ll plan and deliver engaging Psychology and/or Sociology lessons, fostering critical thinking about human behaviour, social processes, and research methodologies. * The role involves exploring diverse theories and concepts, encouraging students to question, analyse, and understand the world around them. * You\’ll cultivate a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to discuss complex ideas and develop their analytical and argumentative skills. What we\’re looking for: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Psychology or Sociology. * Experience teaching engaging and effective Psychology and/or Sociology lessons at Key Stage 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5) is highly desirable. * A deep and current understanding of the respective fields, plus that ability to make the subjects relevant and truly thought-provoking for girls. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong classroom management, and a knack for facilitating engaging discussions.
