About the Role:
Due to business expansion, we are currently looking for lining crews to work on various contracts based out of Preston.
Location: Bamber Bridge, Lancashire (remote working; travel involved)
Hours: 50 hours per week, 07:00 am - 17:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend work available.
Salary: c£16.50 per hour
Responsibilities ā but not limited to:
- Installing sewer liners using various lining systems (UV Lining, cold cure lining, led lining, path lining) as well as day-to-day site duties.
- Maintaining great customer service and communication.
- Adhering to company absence reporting procedure.
- Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet.
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work.
- Carrying out site-specific risk assessments and discussing any changes or amendments with team members and site supervisor.
- Performing daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
- Reporting any issues or hazards by following company procedures.
- Following health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Operating machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks.
- Maintaining equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Wearing and maintaining in good condition any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection and bringing to your supervisor's attention any defects or shortcomings with the equipment.
- Working on the back of cutting unit assisting and learning how to use and maintain the cutting unit.
- Being flexible and picking up overtime if required and the occasional weekend.
