The BDM role is an externally focused sales and business development role, whereby the individual takes responsibility for the overall development and growth of relationships between Gamma and a small number of large partners. The role will involve working closely as part of an Account team to drive growth of revenue and margin as well as manage churn and consolidation What will you be doing day-to-day? Drive growth of all Gamma products and Services within a small number of large accounts focused on selling Gamma’s full portfolio wherever needed Growth revenue and margin in line with agreed targets. Proactively work to reduce churn within these accounts Work with the Sales teams & leadership within the partner to Identify revenue & margin opportunity Cross sell and upsell Gamma’s products and services to that base. Identify and build new relationships with new customers Build and develop MD & Director level relationships Work to ensure Gamma doesn’t incur bad debt from any accounts Orchestrating the various resources at your disposal to ensure that the accounts have the necessary specialist team engaged. Liaise internally with departments within Gamma to ensure that the service provided is of the highest standard Maintain expected activity levels of 20 customer facing meetings per month Proactively manage and report progress of key sales opportunities through Gamma’s CRM system (Salesforce) Negotiate commitment & growth deals Produce a monthly summary of key opportunities won, pending and lost. There will be the need to handle Service Provider sales enquiries, including tenders and commercial support as well as complex rates and commercial negotiations Provide sales support for bids, proposals and contract renewals for Service providers’ customers Developing and managing sales campaign/strategies with your key Service providers in order for them to take to market Undertake formal training of the sales aspects of Gamma services for Gamma’s key Service providers Develop and implement sales campaigns to take products to market Support Service reviews as needed Support and pitch Gamma products to key End-User opportunities What you’ll need: Proven experience in new business channel / partner sales. Proven experience in managing and developing large channel / partner accounts (circa 2-3 million annual gross margin). Background in a sales role in either telecommunications or technology sectors. Extensive relationship building skills at C-level. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build excellent internal relationships and connections across multiple departments. What do we offer you?
