About The Role
Job Description
A Trainee Project Manager works closely with the project team and Senior PM to successfully deliver project outputs. They assist in scheduling, risk management, cost control, stakeholder management, and governance, among others. Strong technical and soft skills are crucial for success in this role. Duties typically include:
- Leadership
- Monitoring project progress
- Stakeholder management
- Cost control
- Resource & task planning
- Quality assurance
- Risk & issue management
- Reporting
As part of the apprenticeship, all candidates will undertake the Association of Project Management Qualification (APMQ). The APM is the only chartered membership organisation for the project profession and is recognized worldwide.
Typical Working Week
40 hours per week, with start times typically between 07:00 & 08:00, including paid 8 hours at college.

Qualifications Required/Desirable
Minimum Requirements
English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 / C or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 or above.
Desired Requirements
Enthusiasm and strong interest in project management, with a desire to develop a career in the field.
Key Training/College Information
K10 will enroll you in the Level 4 Associate Project Management course and fund your qualifications through an accredited training provider.
The apprenticeship lasts 24 months.

To start this apprenticeship, you must:
- Have lived in England for the last 3 years and have the right to work.
- Not be enrolled in any other courses.
- Be 18 or older due to site health & safety rules.
To be eligible for the Heathrow Shared Apprenticeship Scheme, you must reside in one of the following regions:
- Hillingdon
- Hounslow
- Ealing
- Spelthorne
- Windsor & Reading
- South Buckinghamshire
- Elmbridge
- Slough
- Runnymede
