Purpose of the Workshop Technician Role: Our client is looking for a Workshop Technician to perform all maintenance, repair, new build or refurbishment work on all makes and models of volumetric mixers as required. Key Responsibilities for a Workshop Technician: Perform service and maintenance work on all makes and models of volumetric concrete mixers. Develop and maintain technical expertise in the service, repair, maintenance and operation of volumetric mixers and their relevant systems. Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used. Assist in root cause analysis of failures to help improve the overall quality of the equipment. Develop skills and expertise to perform work to the highest quality standards. Key Requirements for a Workshop Technician: Previous experience as a fitter working with heavy equipment preferred while other relevant experience will be considered. Strong electrical fault finding. Knowledge of hydraulics and welding. Excellent problem solving and communication skills. Be able to follow instructions, respond to direction and take responsibility.
