The Job
We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst who will be empowered to prepare and develop effective customization scopes that actively reflect our customer’s business and commercial needs. This is primarily a full-time remote position (with occasional travel to our Leeds office and/or customer sites). The role is initially fixed-term for 12 months, with potential to become permanent.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with enterprise customers to understand, document, and challenge business goals, processes, and pain points.
- Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to gather, design, specify, and refine custom software solutions that meet strategic goals while aligning with Simpro’s SaaS product capabilities.
- Drive discovery and requirements workshops, user story creation, and acceptance criteria development.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with both customer business needs and the long-term vision of our SaaS platform.
- Support pre-sales efforts by providing input on solution design, scoping, and estimating.
- Analyze and map business processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support in the development of User Acceptance Testing to ensure solutions meet business and customer needs.
What You’ll Bring
- 3 to 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Experience working for or with a SaaS company (or similar).
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, data flows (Desirable).
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence or similar (Desirable).
- Working knowledge of Google Suite products (Desirable).
- A proven track record of working with and influencing various stakeholder groups.
