We are currently looking for a Regional Truck Driver to join our team and deliver tanks and other company assets primarily throughout the Southeastern part of the United States in accordance with company standards while maintaining the professional and positive image of Suburban Propane.
Responsibilities
- Using company truck and crane to load and unload propane tanks and other company assets for transport to Suburban Propane locations primarily in the Southeast US in accordance with company and government regulations.
- Maintain safety and compliance records.
- Maintain delivery vehicle which includes reviewing maintenance record, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and accounting for inventory.
- Maintain Driver's electronic log book, trip report, odometer readings and related information.
- Secure truck and equipment consistent with security policy.
- This position requires frequent travel, typically ranging from 4 to 8 days at a time, with occasional trips extending up to 12 days.

Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent training and experience
- Clean driving record with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements as well as a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce
- Overnight road experience required
- 3 years of crane experience preferred
- Knowledgeable of OSHA and ANSI standards in crane operation
- Ability to work independently as well as with other Suburban Propane employees
- Knowledge of MS Outlook for submitting paperwork and expense reports
- Ability to lift and pull equipment that weighs 75 to 100 lbs.
