Clark Wood is a specialist Recruitment Consultancy operating throughout the United Kingdom within the Public Practice Accountancy & Tax sectors. Our core client base consists of Accountancy Practices ranging from Big 4, Top 10 & Mid-Tier firms through to independent regional firms and sole traders.

Accountancy Practice and Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working on behalf of a highly progressive and expanding firm of chartered accountants in Gorleston who are looking to add a Personal Tax Senior / Supervisor to their team. The role will involve managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns. As well as the day to day compliance work for your clients, you will be involved with the provision of services to more complex clients and will support the partners in providing tax planning advice.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a Personal Tax or Mixed Tax role and may be ATT/CTA/ACCA Qualified. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful individual to join a prominent and forward-thinking firm in Gorleston as a Personal Tax Senior in a role where there will be genuine scope for career development. Individuals who are looking for part time hours will also be considered for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
  • Preparation and review of personal tax returns
  • Providing guidance, training and support to junior staff
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
  • Assisting the partners with tax consulting work relevant to HNWI and trusts when required

Skills:

  • ATT / CTA / ACCA Qualified
  • Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment
